Jared Field

Jared Field has extensive work experience in the energy trading industry. Jared is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Priogen Energy since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Priogen Energy as a Senior Power Trader from June 2019 to July 2021. Before joining Priogen Energy, Jared worked at Shell as a Trader from January 2015 to May 2019, where they were involved in fundamental speculative trading, valuation of power assets, and trading of renewable energy portfolios. Jared also designed and implemented the "Shell Data" project. Jared started their career at Shell Energy Europe Limited in January 2010 as a Power Trading Analyst, where they conducted fundamental and technical analysis and developed pricing models. Jared worked in the Power Trading Operations team and also participated in the Shell Development Scheme at Shell Trading from 2005 to 2010, undertaking various roles including Assistant Treasury/Trade Finance Advisor and Crude Contracts Coordinator. Jared began their career as a Technical Consultant at RICHARD ALAN ENGINEERING COMPANY LIMITED from September 2002 to March 2003. Overall, Jared has a strong background in energy trading and analysis.

Jared Field completed their education at the University of Southampton from 1999 to 2002, majoring in Astrophysics with a focus on Physics and Astronomy. Prior to that, they attended The Booksbank School from 1992 to 1999 where they obtained A' levels in physics, chemistry, mathematics, and general studies, as well as 15 GCSE's in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
