Kate O'Hara is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in trauma-sensitive yoga and product design. Currently serving as a Certification Mentor at the Center for Trauma & Embodiment at JRI, Kate mentors students in the TCTSY Certification Program, develops educational modules, and contributes to the publication of relevant literature in the field. As the owner and facilitator at Thriving Tree Yoga LLC, Kate offers trauma-sensitive yoga classes and collaborates with social service agencies. Prior experience includes roles as a soft goods product designer at Priority Designs, an owner and binder at The Burnished Book, and guest teaching at Bexley City Schools. Kate holds various certifications, including a 300-hour TCTSY Facilitator certification and a 200-hour Kripalu Yoga Teacher certification, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from the University of Cincinnati.
