Tom Africa

Tom Africa is a seasoned Sr. Industrial Designer and Soft-Goods Developer with over 30 years of professional experience in industrial design, particularly in soft-goods design, materials evaluation, assembly definition, and production implementation. Since October 2002, Tom has worked at Priority Designs, where expertise has been honed. Prior to that, Tom held the position of Manager of Industrial Design & New Product Development at MeadWestvaco and served as a Sr. Industrial Designer at Dolly, Inc., specializing in infant products. Tom's career began as an Industrial Designer at Eureka Vacuum from 1993 to 1995, following the completion of a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from the University of Cincinnati in 1993.
