Amelia Clawson, MBA, CSM has extensive work experience in the emergency dispatch and international relations field. Amelia began their career in 1999 at Priority Dispatch Corporation, where they served as the Director of International Operations and Development for Latin America & Europe until October 2022. In August 2022, they assumed the role of Director of Global Strategy, Corporate Governance, and Culture at the same company. Concurrently, Amelia also worked at the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch as the Director of International Relations and Social/Cultural Research and Standards. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in both strategic planning and international relations within the emergency dispatch industry.
Amelia Clawson, MBA, CSM has a diverse educational background. Amelia pursued their higher education at various institutions and obtained degrees in anthropology and business administration.
In 1995, Amelia enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Anthropology. Amelia dedicated their academic years from 1995 to 1998 to studying this field.
During this period, they also took the opportunity to expand their knowledge in anthropology and Italian culture. In 1996-1997, Amelia attended the Universita di Bologna, where they pursued a degree in Anthropologia e Italiano, combining their passion for anthropology and the Italian language.
Amelia's quest for higher education did not stop there. In 2012, they enrolled at the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business to pursue an Executive MBA. This program allowed their to specialize in Business Administration and Management. Amelia dedicated two years, from 2012 to 2014, to obtaining this advanced degree.
Along with their formal education, Amelia has also obtained additional certifications to enhance their professional skills. In 2016, they obtained the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance, demonstrating their expertise in Agile project management methodologies.
Recently, in June 2021, Amelia received the Women in Leadership Certificate from the University of Utah, further showcasing their commitment to growing as a leader in their field.
