Bill McConnell has extensive experience in public safety communications, with a career spanning over 35 years. Currently serving as Implementations Project Manager at Priority Dispatch Corporation since January 2019, Bill has held several roles including Lead Project Coordinator and Project Coordinator. Prior to this, Bill worked at the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch as an Emergency Fire Dispatch Instructor from October 2013 to August 2023. Bill's background also includes significant leadership and operational management positions such as Communications Manager for Marion County BOCC, overseeing a consolidated Public Safety Communications Center, and Communications Division Chief for the Emergency Medical Services Alliance. Bill's earlier experience encompasses various roles within emergency medical services and firefighting, including as Fire Chief, EMT, and Communications Supervisor, beginning in 1981. Bill's education includes studies at the College of Central Florida from 1984 to 1985.
