Mina Sooch is an accomplished entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in the biotechnology and life sciences sectors. Currently serving as a semi-retired professional and a member of the Board of Directors at Priority Health, Mina is also the founder and general partner of Apjohn Ventures, an early-stage life sciences venture capital firm with nine investments. Mina's prior roles include president, CEO, and founder of Ocuphire Pharma, focused on developing therapies for ophthalmic conditions, and president and CEO of Gemphire Therapeutics, which addresses cardiometabolic issues. As president and CEO of ProNAi Therapeutics, Mina led a clinical-stage cancer biotech company known for its innovative approach to gene silencing. Additionally, experiences include directing Zystor Therapeutics, which pioneered treatments for orphan diseases, and managing global accounts at Monitor Group. Mina holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Wayne State University.
