Abid Choudry

Abid Choudry is a highly experienced psychiatrist with a robust background in various roles within mental health services. Currently serving as a Locum Consultant Psychiatrist at Priory since April 2024, Abid has previously held positions including Locum Consultant Psychiatrist at Elysium Healthcare and Devon Partnership NHS Trust, where responsibilities included inpatient oversight and junior trainee supervision. From April 2021 to January 2024, Abid worked as Medical Director and Consultant Psychiatrist at Priory, managing acute adult wards across four sites in the West Midlands. Abid's extensive training includes roles as a consultant psychiatrist at Black Country Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, and various specialized training positions in community and forensic psychiatry.
