Adrian Cree

Chief Medical Officer, Priory at Priory

Adrian Cree has had extensive work experience in the medical field. Adrian started their career at the Priory Group in 2011 as a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist before quickly moving up to the position of Medical Director. In 2017, Adrian took on a senior management role at the Priory Group as the Associate Medical Director Southern Region and Clinical Director of the Forensic Service. During this time, they provided medical management and clinical leadership for the Southern Region, overseeing approximately 26 hospitals. Adrian also held the role of Interim Group Medical Director before becoming the Group Medical Director in 2020. In June 2023, they were appointed as the Chief Medical Officer for Priory. Prior to joining Priory, Adrian worked at the Institute of Psychiatry as a Visiting Senior Lecturer and Co-Director of the Forensic Teaching Unit.

Adrian Cree holds a Master's degree (MSc) in Medical Leadership from Bayes Business School, which they obtained between 2019 and 2021. Adrian also earned a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from St Bartholomews Medical School, completing it from 1994 to 1998. Adrian previously pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology at UCL from 1986 to 1989. Adrian'searliest known education was at Langley Park School for Boys, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for that period, lasting from 1978 to 1985.
