Colin Quick

Colin Quick has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in nursing and quality roles. Colin has most recently worked at Priory as the Chief Quality Officer since June 2022. Prior to that, they held positions at Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, including Deputy Director of Nursing from January 2016 to July 2019. Colin also worked at Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust as a Service Manager and Modern Matron. Colin started their career in healthcare at Cygnet Health Care and also served as a Nursing Officer in the Royal Air Force.

Colin Quick has a diverse education history. Colin obtained a Quality Leaders Professional Development Certificate from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement in 2022-2023. In 2015-2016, they earned a Nye Bevan Programme degree in Healthcare Leadership from the NHS Leadership Academy. Colin also completed a PG Dip in Advancing Healthcare Practice at The University of Manchester in 2005-2007 and a PG Cert in Mental Health Practice at the University of Plymouth in 2002-2004. Colin holds a DipColin in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse/Nursing from the University of Plymouth, which they received in 1995-1998. Furthermore, Colin earned a BA(Hons) in Social Policy from the University of Plymouth in 1991-1994. Colin completed their earlier education at Plymouth College Independent School from 1984-1991. Colin is also registered as a Mental Health Nurse by The Nursing and Midwifery Council, which they obtained in 1998.
