Brian Deck

Brian Deck has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Brian started their career as a Tutor and Faculty Assistant at DeVry University, where they provided academic assistance to students in computer science and algebra courses.

After that, Brian joined Novarra as a Software Developer Intern and Quality Assurance Tester. Brian worked on designing, developing, testing, and analyzing mobile phone browser products. Brian was later promoted to a full-time Software Engineer at Novarra.

Brian then joined Nokia, where they remained with the Xpress Internet Services group. Brian continued working as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to client and server software development to enhance data services and browsing experiences for Nokia phone users. Microsoft acquired Nokia in 2014, and Brian continued their role within the Xpress Internet Services group.

In 2014, Brian transitioned to HERE Technologies, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer. Brian focused on automotive cloud services and contributed to the development of products and services supporting automated driving solutions. Brian was later promoted to Lead Software Engineer, leading an agile team and playing a key role in creating the HERE Hazard Warnings product.

Most recently, Brian joined Prisidio as a Senior Software Engineer in 2022.

Brian Deck attended DeVry University from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Information Systems.
