Alexandra Martinez

Alexandra Martinez is a seasoned journalist and filmmaker with extensive experience in news reporting, freelance writing, and documentary production. Since November 2021, Alexandra has served as a Senior News Reporter at Prism, specializing in timely national news stories. As a freelance filmmaker, Alexandra directed and produced the short documentary "El Soldador," and has contributed arts and culture pieces to notable outlets such as CNN Opinion and Vice News. Previous roles include writing for Miami New Times, contributing to VICE Media and Catapult Magazine, and participating in various projects focused on community storytelling and youth engagement.
