Johan Auster

Johan A. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

Starting in 2013 at Sticks'n'Sushi, Johan worked as a Line Chef for a year.

In 2018, Johan joined Zanders as an Analyst, where they focused on an anomaly detection project in transaction data. Johan was responsible for data cleaning, exploratory analysis, and developing an optimized string matching algorithm for consolidating parties across data sets.

From 2019 to 2021, Johan worked at UBS as a Quant in the AI, Monitoring & Surveillance Models Validation team. Johan'srole involved conducting quantitative testing and model risk assessments for various surveillance models. Johan also wrote validation reports and presented findings to stakeholders.

In 2021, Johan joined Tolomeo Capital as a Quant, where they worked on quantitative research and production implementation of trading systems in futures and liquid equities. Johan'sresponsibilities included implementing and researching intraday statistical arbitrage strategies and developing a high-performance parallel framework for intraday strategies.

Currently, since 2021, Johan serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Prismatic. In this role, they have designed and implemented a fully on-chain smart contract architecture with various features, including modular organizational frameworks, temporally-locked staking, utility methods, and meta data management. Johan has also built dev tooling, developed on-chain numerical approximation algorithms, and written interoperable contracts.

Additionally, Johan worked as an Advisor at Prismatic from July 2021 to March 2022.

Johan A. began their education in 2014 at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. Johan then pursued further studies at ETH Zürich from 2017 to 2019, earning a Master of Science degree in Quantitative Finance. Currently, Johan A. is enrolled at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen for their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Financial Mathematics, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
