Jamil Ahmad

Jamil Ahmad is an experienced professional in power plant operations and maintenance, currently serving as O/M Team Lead for an 80 MW GE/Marafiq power plant in Oman at PRISMECS since March 2022. Previously, Jamil held the position of GT Instrumentation, Control and Operations Supervisor at Pro Diesel, focusing on a 140 MW power plant in Iraq. Earlier roles include Gas Turbine I&C Specialist at APR Energy, where Jamil worked on various power plants in Iraq and Angola, and Electronic/Instrumentation & Control Engineer at Engro Power Services Ltd in Nigeria. Jamil has extensive experience with GE Aero Derivative gas turbines, having worked in multiple capacities at GE and SEPCOL, and has a solid educational background with bachelor's degrees in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from PIMSAT University.
