Scott Peyton, CNP, has over twelve years of work experience in various roles within the State of Louisiana, including Child Welfare Specialist and Juvenile Probation and Parole Officer. Prior to joining Right on Crime as the Regional Director and State Director for Louisiana and Mississippi, they worked in Adult Probation and Parole, supervising violent offender caseloads. Scott has also served as an Investigator and Director of Investigations for several organizations and spent time as a volunteer and reserve Deputy Sheriff. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and a Master’s in Nonprofit Administration from Louisiana State University at Shreveport. Currently, Scott serves as the Director of Government Affairs for Prison Fellowship and as a Pastor at the Methodist Church of Palmetto.
