Daniel O’Neil excels in leadership, working within ambiguity, problem solving, multi-cultural communication, and adaptability. As a systems thinker, he is uniquely qualified to bring coherent direction, to find the mechanisms which connect business, technical, and analytical disciplines. He assists clients with risk quantification in cybersecurity and threat assessment. He also assists clients with Factor Analysis of Information Risk (FAIR), Critical Infrastructure Dependency and decision-making frameworks. He is the Co-Founder of the InfraGard Predictive Modeling Working Group as well as a former contributor to The OPEN Group OPEN FAIR standard and primary developer of the OPEN FAIR Risk Analysis Tool. He previously worked with Dr. Sam Savage at Probability Management, developing solutions to communicate uncertainty and risk. Daniel has a bachelor’s degree from San Jose State University in Economics where he specialized in quantitative modeling techniques such as econometrics, cost-benefit analysis, experimental economics, and computational economics.
