Upal Basu is a seasoned venture capitalist and board member with extensive experience in high-growth technology companies. As the General Partner and Managing Member at NGP Capital since 2008, Upal oversees investments across all stages in a global context. In addition to NGP Capital, Upal holds significant board positions at various innovative companies, including Board Observer roles at NetBox Labs, Xona Space Systems, ArmorCode Inc., and Zinier, along with directorships at Ati Motors and Platform9. Upal's expertise spans autonomous systems, application security, and open-source software solutions, complemented by a strong educational background with an MBA from Harvard Business School, an M.S. in Engineering from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) from Imperial College London.
