Stephen Varma

Stephen Varma is a Chief Risk Officer with extensive global risk transformation experience in sectors such as infrastructure investment, sustainable development, and project financing. Currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer at The Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG), they focus on enhancing enterprise risk practices to support social and economic development in vulnerable communities across Africa and Asia. Additionally, as a Trustee and Chair of the Risk and Audit Committee at Central YMCA, they oversee risk and internal controls while contributing to organizational strategy. Stephen holds an Executive MBA from Cambridge Judge Business School, completed in 2022.
