Margot Lamson

Margot Lamson is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and group practice owner, currently providing trauma therapy using EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and IFS in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Margot has a diverse background, having previously held roles as a Clinical Social Worker in schools and as a Functional Family Therapist, where they focused on in-home therapeutic services for families. Margot's experience also includes internships at Bell Multicultural High School and N Street Village, where they empowered students and female clients, respectively. They earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Spanish from Wake Forest University and a Master of Social Work from The Catholic University of America.
