Chief Executive Officer at PrivOps

Kit Johnson has a long and varied work history. In 2017, they became the Chief Executive Officer of PrivOps. From 2004 to 2017, they worked as the Director of Social Work at the Centennial Medical Center, where they established the Social Work Department in a brand new hospital and developed policies and procedures. Kit also built relationships with teams throughout the hospital and with physicians to develop the best discharge outcome for patients to reduce re-admissions. From 2000 to 2004, they worked as a Medical Social Worker at the Baylor University Medical Center. During this time, they worked with numerous multidisciplinary teams to provide case management and discharge planning throughout the hospital. From 1999 to 2000, they worked as a Medical Social Worker at the Mayo Clinic. Kit was responsible for coordinating dismissal plans of assigned hospital patients, including facilitating Nursing home placements, Hospital transfers out of state, Hospice care and Home Health Care with patient, their family, their insurance company and the receiving health care provider, along with arranging transportation and required durable medical equipment. Kit also completed psychosocial assessments on patient's going through the Liver Transplant Clinic.

Kit Johnson earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Auburn University in 1987, followed by a Masters Degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from Florida State University in 1996.
