Tyler James Johnson has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Tyler James began their career in 1996 as an Intern at Siemens ICN. In 1998, they were a Design Engineer at TRW Automotive, where they managed the outsourcing of integrated circuit design and software development. In 2000, they joined Hewlett-Packard as an Enterprise Sales representative, selling the entire HP product and services portfolio. In 2008, they became an Alliance Manager at NetApp, working with CSC Outsourcing to develop their first server and virtual desktop private cloud solutions. In 2011, they joined Rackspace, the #1 managed cloud company, as a Global Alliance Leader EMC/VMware Federation and CTO, Product Line Leader - VMware based Hosting Services. In 2015, they joined Convergent Technology Advisors as a Principal. Most recently, in 2017, they became Co-Founder and CTO of PrivOps, a company that delivers safe, automated access to applications and data without being locked into any vendor’s solution.
Tyler James Johnson obtained their MBA in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business between 2003 and 2006. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Florida Atlantic University between 1996 and 1998.
