Lucas S. has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Lucas started their career as a Software Engineer Intern at CABM, Rutgers University, where they gained experience in HTML/CSS, MySQL, and PHP. After that, they worked as a Freelance Game Developer, actively developing mobile games using AS3 and various frameworks and tools.

Lucas then joined Aol as a Technical Operations Engineer Intern before moving on to Vitabot Online Nutrition, where they worked as a Software Engineer and Hiring Manager. In this role, they implemented various application components, interviewed applicants, and trained new hires.

Lucas then joined FactSet as a Software Engineer III, where they built and enhanced multiple web-based financial applications. Lucas utilized modern web technologies such as JavaScript, Backbone.js, jQuery, HTML, CSS/Sass, Bootstrap, Require.js, and Underscore.

After that, Lucas worked at Estimize as a Senior Software Engineer and later joined Bit-Lever as a Lead Developer. Lucas then joined Float.com as a Senior Software Engineer before ultimately joining Privy. At Privy, they first held the position of Senior Software Engineer and eventually became the Senior Engineering Lead.

Lucas S. obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Maryland, where they studied from 2007 to 2011.
