Clay Phillips

Clay Phillips is a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Pro-Dex, Inc., since August 2020, specializing in DFMIA support for both new and legacy electro-mechanical medical products, integrating customer design requirements into internal processes, and overseeing manufacturing transfers to new facilities. Previously, Clay served as a Manufacturing Engineer at Orchid Orthopedic Solutions, focusing on reviewing machining drawings, communicating with customers, resolving assembly issues, and conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO 13485:2016 and FDA standards. At FUTEK Advanced Sensor Technology, Clay worked as a Manufacturing Engineer in the Machine Shop, interfacing between the Engineering department and the Machine Shop and supporting documentation for compliance with various quality standards. Clay's earlier experience includes roles at Flowserve as a Revamp/Special Projects Intern and at GF AgieCharmilles as an Applications Engineer Intern. Clay holds a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Northern Illinois University.
