Šimon Bednář

Šimon Bednář is a Czech and European Patent Attorney who currently serves as the Head of the Patent Department at PRO.MED.CS since 2019. They previously worked as a Patent Counsel at Zentiva, focusing on patent risks and assessments from 2015 to 2019, and served as a Patent Examiner at Úřad průmyslového vlastnictví from 2007 to 2015. Šimon began their career as a Research Assistant at Vysoká škola chemicko-technologická v Praze and holds a Master’s degree in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague. They also completed basic training in European Patent Law at the Center for International Intellectual Property Studies.
