Dan Becerescu

Dan Becerescu has extensive experience in the television industry, currently serving as Head of Development & Long Term Strategy for Programming at PRO TV since September 2004. In this role, Dan is responsible for dividing foreign content between Pro TV and niche channels, evaluating local fiction proposals, and analyzing adaptation potential for both local fiction and reality formats. Previously held positions include Long Term Programming Coordinator, TV Schedule & Content Analyst, Research Quantitative Analyst, and Research Qualitative Analyst, where responsibilities ranged from programming and audience analysis to stakeholder presentations. Prior experience includes working as an Editor for HBO Romania, focusing on movie reviews and interviews with local filmmakers. Dan holds a Master's degree in Psychotherapy and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Bucharest.
