Jonas Ekman

VP, Mergers & Acquisitions at Proact IT

Jonas Ekman is the current Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions at Proact IT. Jonas has also previously worked as a lagershopsmedarbetare/service at NetOnNet and as a montör/testare at Gambro.

Ekman began their career at Gambro, where they worked for seven years on a variety of tasks, including mounting, machine operator, and tester. Jonas was also during the last 2-3 years competence responsible for an assembly group. There, they were in charge of planning training for new employees, 5s-work, and ergonomics. The production worked according to LEAN, which gave him good knowledge in this area.

In 2015, Ekman left Gambro to work as a lagershopsmedarbetare/service at NetOnNet. There, they were responsible for handling service cases and returns within open purchase. Some simple troubleshooting was also required. Jonas had daily contact with workshops and customers.

Ekman’s excellent work at both Gambro and NetOnNet led to their current position as VP, Mergers & Acquisitions at Proact IT.

Jonas Ekman has an IT certification from NetApp in NetApp Certified Storage Installation Engineer, ONTAP and another certification from NetApp in NetApp Certified Data Administrator, ONTAP. Jonas also went to school for IT at Lernia.

Jonas Ekman works with René Schülein - MD, Proact Deutschland GmbH, Germany, Vít Létavka - MD, Proact Czech Republic Ltd. & Slovakia, and Ann-Charlotte Arnshav - VP, Services Operations. Jonas Ekman reports to Jonas Hasselberg, CEO & President, Acting Business Unit Director, Nordics & Baltics.
