Rajiv Kumar established Proactive Data Systems Pvt. Ltd in 1993 and moved the company into the computer networking field in 1994. The company has a presence in Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Pune. They earned a PGDM in Marketing and Systems from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (1978-1980) and a B. Tech in Electrical (Electronics) Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (1972-1977).
