Vinay Patel

Vinay Patel is a pharmacist executive with 16 years of experience in population health management and community pharmacy operations. They currently serve as the Chief Pharmacy Officer at Proactive MD and are the founder of MakoRx, where they focus on innovative pharmacy growth strategies. Previously, Vinay held the position of Senior Director of Clinical Operations at Physicians Pharmacy Alliance and worked in various clinical pharmacy roles, managing chronic care for over 2000 patients across multiple settings. They are passionate about teaching and learning, contributing to the education of students in the medical field while developing clinical programs that have significantly reduced unnecessary physician hours. Vinay earned a Pharm.D. from the University of Florida in 2006.
