Jonathan Jackson has a diverse work experience in the publishing and media industry. Jonathan started their career as a Managing Editor at Blitz Publications in 1996, where they managed 10 publications and gained valuable experience in magazine publishing. Jonathan then worked as a Managing Editor at Wealth Creator magazine, later known as Tomahawk Media, from 2001 to 2007, where they honed their skills as a business and finance editor and developed strong relationships with industry professionals.

In 2011, they became the Managing Editor of Your Trading Edge at 21st Century Media, a leading publication in the business and finance sector. Jonathan served in this role until 2013. From 2009 to 2015, Jonathan owned and managed J2 Media, a company specializing in publishing and communications solutions. During this time, they focused on delivering creative and effective results to meet the objectives of their clients.

In 2013, Jonathan joined Business First magazine as an Editor, where they highlighted successful companies throughout the Asia Pacific region and covered innovation in the world of business. Jonathan left the magazine in 2019. Following this, they worked as a Media and Content Manager at Marketing Eye, Australia's leading marketing consultancy for small to medium-sized businesses, from 2014 to 2015.

From 2015 to 2021, Jonathan served as a Senior Editor at StocksDigital, where they contributed to the organization's editorial efforts. Most recently, they have been working at Proactive since 2021, initially as a News Editor for Australia and then as a Senior Financial Writer. Overall, Jonathan's extensive experience in the publishing and media industry has allowed him to develop expertise in various roles, including editorial management, content creation, and business journalism.

Jonathan Jackson attended Monash University from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a BA. Hons degree. During their time at the university, they pursued studies in Professional Writing/Editing, Literature, Film, and Politics.
