Derek Bowie

Derek Bowie currently serves as the Environment, Health and Safety Manager at ProAmpac, a position held since January 2024. Derek's extensive experience in operations and safety management spans several organizations, including over 16 years at Busch Gardens Williamsburg and related entities, where roles included Director of Operations and Director of Environmental, Health, & Safety. Derek's career began at Busch Entertainment Corp, where management duties involved rides and guest arrivals. Derek earned a BA in Psychology and Religious Studies from the University of Virginia between 1989 and 1992.
