With 27 years of experience in the packaging industry, Richard Smith has built a comprehensive understanding of the entire production lifecycle. Starting as an ink technician, they advanced through various roles, including print team leader, ink room manager, and procurement specialist, ultimately becoming an operations manager at ProAmpac Lincoln. In this position, Richard leads all aspects of plant performance, managing cross-functional teams and driving lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Committed to continuous improvement and quality, they foster collaboration across departments to achieve measurable results. Currently, Richard is pursuing further education at HBTC, where they are studying with distinction.
