Senior Innovation Engineer - Active/intelligent Packaging at ProAmpac

Samuel Kessler, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Innovation Engineer at ProAmpac, focusing on active and intelligent packaging within the food safety sector since November 2020. Kessler's role involves developing and testing new technologies aimed at enhancing food shelf life, toxicity, and migration properties. Additionally, Kessler has been an Adjunct Professor at Polytechnique Montréal since February 2022 and previously contributed as a Graduate Research Assistant at Clemson University and a Research Associate at the University of South Carolina. Kessler holds a PhD in Food Technology from Clemson University and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Skidmore College. Early work experience includes roles as a laboratory technician and various culinary positions.
