Mohammed Talib has a diverse and extensive work experience. Mohammed is currently serving as the Vice President of Corporate Development at ProArch since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Mphasis for over 13 years, starting in 2009 as the Associate Vice-President and Head of Technology Licensing and M&A. During their tenure, Talib successfully closed numerous cross-border transactions, ranging from acquisitions to technology partnerships, helping the organization expand into new markets and achieve inorganic growth. Mohammed also streamlined the M&A process, reducing deal closure timelines and effectively managing a pipeline of active leads.

Before joining Mphasis, Talib worked at Moser Baer India Ltd for three years as part of the Corporate Strategy and M&A division. Mohammed played a vital role in M&A transactions, technology partnerships, equity investments, and strategic planning. Talib also raised funds and entered into partnerships for solar power plant construction, acquired a media distribution company, and implemented brand licensing strategies.

Talib began their career as an Associate Consultant at Sathguru Consultants Pvt. Ltd in 2004. Mohammed then joined IDBI Bank as a Market Risk Analyst in the Treasury Mid Office, where they gained expertise in managing market risk for derivative products and regularly reported to the Asset Liability Committee (ALCO).

In 2003, Talib briefly worked as a Management Trainee at BNP Paribas, showcasing their early exposure to the financial sector.

Mohammed Talib's education history includes various degrees and diplomas. Mohammed obtained a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) degree from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analyst of India between 2001 and 2004. Additionally, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at ICFAI Business School from 2002 to 2004. In 2017 and 2018, Talib pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law at the National Law School of India University. Mohammed also attended the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore in 2008, specializing in Financial Valuations. Moreover, Talib obtained a Financial Risk Management (FRM) degree from the Global Association of Risk Professionals in 2007. Their undergraduate education took place at Bangalore University from 1995 to 2000, leading to a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree.
