Robert Whitney has a diverse legal background with experience in both litigation and public defense. After graduating from Duke University School of Law in 2013, Robert held several positions including Judicial Extern at the Los Angeles Superior Court and various internships at public defender offices and legal clinics. Robert served as an Associate at Edison, McDowell & Hetherington LLP (now McDowell Hetherington LLP), Young Moore and Henderson, P.A., and TittmannWeix, before moving on to Goldberg Segalla and Phelps Dunbar LLP. Currently, Robert is a Senior Complex Litigation Specialist at ProAssurance. Additionally, Robert has experience clerking for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
