Mark Subotnick

VP, Partner Alliances at ProbablyMonsters

Mark “Bot” Subotnick is a longtime gaming and technology executive, known for holding key roles at Intel, Microsoft, and SEGA across multiple generations of technological innovation. He has worked in nearly every category of gaming, from production to business development, QA, and marketing.

In his role of VP of Partner Alliances at ProbablyMonsters, he will manage the company’s relationships with key industry partners including developers, publishers, and platform owners. He will also be bringing in new opportunities to create and drive new revenue streams.

Mark began his video game career at SEGA of America, starting as a tester and moving up to senior roles including producing and managing internal development for the Dreamcast launch. After a stint on Muse Communications’ executive team working on Muse 3D web-enabling technologies, he joined Microsoft in 2001 and began to work on the launch of Xbox, Xbox Live, Games for Windows, and eventually Xbox 360 as a Developer Relations Manager.

He left Microsoft in 2007 to join Intel Corporation as the Executive Producer of Project Offset and the Game Engine Team. Over the next 15 years he held executive roles ranging from business development to managing the program office with DreamWorks Animation, to VR, to running an esports event with the International Olympic Committee, and eventually heading up the Desktop Enthusiast business. Most recently, he led the launch of the 12th and 13th generations of Intel enthusiast desktop processors.
