Christian Thimm

Christian Thimm has over 17 years of work experience in various financial and leadership roles. Christian is currently serving as the Group CFO at PROBAT since January 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Geschäftsführer at thyssenkrupp Edelstahl-Service-Center GmbH from October 2016 to December 2019. Christian also held the position of OU Board/Kfm. Leiter at thyssenkrupp Stainless GmbH from August 2014 to December 2019. Before joining thyssenkrupp, they worked at Acciai Speciali Terni as the Leiter Planung & Reporting from September 2011 to July 2014. Additionally, they served as the Manager Accounting/Controlling Global at thyssenkrupp Nirosta GmbH from April 2008 to August 2011. Christian Thimm started their career at E.ON Ruhrgas AG, where they worked as the Abteilungsleiter Planung und Reporting Midstream, Steuerungssysteme from April 2003 to March 2008.

Christian Thimm attended Ruhr-Universität Bochum from 1998 to 2003, where they earned a Diplom-Ökonom degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaft (Economics). In 2000, they also briefly studied Economics and Business Administration at the Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration.
