Karen Bertrams

Karen Bertrams is a seasoned library innovator with extensive experience in transforming public libraries, collaborating with children, artists, and scientists at Probiblio since 1991. Previously, Karen contributed to library services as a children's librarian at OBA and the Openbare Bibliotheek Amsterdam from 1982 to 1991. Additionally, a volunteer effort took place in May 2009, where Karen helped create a library in the Solokumbu district of Nepal through Stichting Chimding. Karen's educational background includes a degree from the Frederik Muller Academy, studies at P.A. Tiele Academie Den Haag, and participation in NGPR-a, alongside foundational education at Baarnsch Lyceum.
