Dede Perkins

Dede Perkins is the current CEO of ProCanna and has held various positions at different companies throughout their career.

Dede started their career as a technical writing manager at Harvest Health & Recreation, Inc. from August 2015 to August 2020. Dede then became a cash audits supervisor committee member at Casco Federal Credit Union from September 2009 to April 2016.

In May 2017, they co-founded the Gorham Village Alliance and served as a board member until June 2021. The Gorham Village Alliance is an organization that works to enhance the economic, cultural, and community climate in the downtown area of Gorham, Maine.

From January 2015 to June 2015, Perkins was an administrator at New England Story Tellers (NEST). Dede then became an advisory board member at Gorham Adult Education from September 2009 to December 2014.

In November 2008, Perkins became the executive director of Gorham Business & Civic Exchange and held that position until November 2013. After that, they became a principal at A Few Good Words from April 2007 to October 2018.

In April 2003, Perkins became a trustee at Baxter Memorial Library and Museum and served in that role until April 2009. Dede also served as treasurer and vice president of the Gorham Food Pantry from January 2003 to December 2020.

Dede Perkins has a BA in English and Government from Colby College and has completed a Washington Semester at American University. Dede is also certified by the OCEG (Open Compliance & Ethics Group) as a Certified GRC Professional (GRCP).
