Kevin Mclaughlin has extensive work experience in various roles within the engineering and manufacturing industry. Kevin started their career as a Machinist at FEMCO Machine in 1981 and worked there until 1993. Kevin then joined CAM Technologies Inc. as a Computer Numerical Control Machinist until 1995. Kevin then worked at R&D Maintenance as a Machine Shop Supervisor from 1995 to 2000.

In 2000, they joined Valcan Engineering as a Mechanical Designer and stayed with the company until 2002. Kevin then worked at PELHAM INDUSTRIAL MFG INC as a Project Manager from 2002 to 2003.

From 2003 to 2005, they served as a Quality Engineer Supervisor at CRH North America. Kevin then joined ProcessBarron in 2005 as an Engineering Manager and held the position until 2020.

In 2020, they transitioned to Wilson Machine & Welding as a Machining, Welding & Fabrication Estimator. Currently, Kevin is working at ProcessBarron as a Project Estimator since 2022.

Kevin McLaughlin attended Jefferson State Vocational School and earned a three-year degree in Electronics, which was completed in 1984. Kevin then went on to attend Shelton State Community College, where they studied Mechanical Drafting and Mechanical Drafting CAD/CADD, Machine Tool Technology/Machinist, and Welding Technology/Welder. It is unknown when they started or finished these programs.

Additionally, Kevin has obtained several certifications. In 2015, they completed the Management Development Program at Foresight. In 2005, they earned the Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) certification from CRH North America. In 2004, they obtained the Lean Manufacturing certification from CRH North America, as well as the Advanced Product Quality Planning certification from Huntington Quality Associates Inc.
