Michael Stewart

Vice President of Manufacturing Operations at ProcessBarron

Michael Stewart has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Michael began their career as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer at Long Airdox Co., where they designed conveyor equipment and worked with engineering companies on large conveyor system projects. Michael then joined Corning Incorporated as a Senior Process Development Engineer, where they transferred new optical fiber designs from the laboratory to manufacturing operations.

In 2002, Michael moved to Hillphoenix as the Business Unit Manager, responsible for managing the unit that produced custom refrigeration equipment. Michael implemented Lean Manufacturing methodologies to improve lead time, reduce labor hours, and enhance efficiencies.

From 2004 onwards, Michael Stewart worked at CWW CONVEYOR SYSTEMS, LLC (formerly Caterpillar, Bucyrus and DBT America). Michael held multiple roles during their tenure, including Plant Manager, Director of Operations, and Group Manager for Caterpillar's Global Mining Division - Conveyor Systems. In these positions, they managed operations, implemented lean manufacturing processes, and ensured compliance with ISO standards. Michael also oversaw the consolidation of facilities, managed a project to consolidate two US factories, and was responsible for attaining budget and operational performance objectives.

Since 2015, Michael has been the General Manager of CWW Conveyor Systems, LLC, where they spearheaded startup operations, established all business requirements, and managed ongoing operational functions. Michael successfully led a team that facilitated a seamless transition of business systems and negotiated distribution contracts for products with dealers in the US and Mexico.

Most recently, in 2016, Michael Stewart joined ProcessBarron as the Vice President of Manufacturing Operations. However, specifics regarding their role and responsibilities in this position or any subsequent developments are not provided.

Michael Stewart completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Alabama in 1994. In addition to their degree, they obtained certifications in Lean Manufacturing from the University of Michigan and in Six Sigma Green Belt from Caterpillar Inc.
