Wade Smith

Wade Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and continuous improvement, currently serving as the Continuous Improvement Lean Lead at ProcessBarron since October 2022. Prior to this role, Wade Smith held various significant positions at Mercedes-Benz US International since January 2001, including Manager of Paint Process Engineering, where responsibility included overseeing technical activities in the Paint Shop and supervising a team of engineers. Wade also served as Quality Manager for Body and Paint, managing quality assurance for 185K vehicles annually, and directed the Corrosion Protection Coordination for multiple vehicle models. Additional roles included leading continuous improvement initiatives and overseeing production lines, contributing to substantial cost savings and efficiency improvements. Wade Smith holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama.
