Rachel Lim

Rachel Lim has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the p5.js Web Editor Lead at the Processing Foundation. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Codesters from November 2021 to November 2022. Before that, they were an Interactive Developer at Vidcode from May 2020 to November 2021. Rachel also served as a Graduate Assistant at New York University from January 2020 to May 2020, where they assisted with feedback and grading for Code! courses. Additionally, they were a Digital Accessibility Assistant at the New York University Gallatin School of Individualized Study from September 2018 to May 2020, focusing on website accessibility. Rachel was a Google Summer of Code Student with the Processing Foundation in 2019 and worked as an Interactive Intern at the Guggenheim Museum from September 2017 to December 2017. Rachel also gained experience as a NEW INC Operations Intern at the New Museum of Contemporary Art from January 2017 to August 2017, where they contributed to various projects and assisted with website maintenance. Overall, Rachel has developed a wide range of skills and experiences in software engineering, interactive development, and user experience.

Rachel Lim completed their education with a Master's degree in Interactive Telecommunications Program from New York University in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from the same university in 2018. Rachel's education journey began at Bergen County Academies, where they attended the Academy for Visual and Performing Arts from 2010 to 2014.
