Xiaowei R. Wang

Xiaowei R. Wang, PhD, is an educator, researcher, and creative technologist committed to the principles of generosity and equity in design. They have held roles such as Creative Director at Logic Magazine and have worked as a software engineer at Mapbox, focusing on scalable systems for millions of users. Currently, Xiaowei is the lead steward of Logic School and serves as a Senior Civic Media Fellow at the Annenberg Innovation Lab. Additionally, they are involved in various academic positions, including a postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern University and a faculty member at the University School of Design and Engineering of Barcelona. Their broad experience includes designing data visualizations for the United Nations and teaching at institutions like Harvard and UCLA.
