Sean Cronin

CEO at ProcessUnity

As ProcessUnity’s CEO, Sean Cronin is responsible for leading all aspects of the company from strategy to day-to-day business operations.

Sean joined ProcessUnity in 2014 as Vice President and General Manager of the company’s Risk Management line of business. In 2016, he was promoted to President and in 2017 he was invited to join the company’s Board of Directors. In 2018, after driving nearly four years of industry-leading business growth, Sean played a key role in closing the company’s first and second private equity financing transactions. In November of 2019, he succeeded co-founder Todd Stone as ProcessUnity’s CEO.

Throughout his career, Sean has built outstanding product and sales teams and created compelling go-to-market strategies for blue-chip and entrepreneurial software companies. Prior to joining ProcessUnity, he was Global Vice President of Client Operations and Pre-Sales for the Risk Segment at Thomson Reuters. He has held leadership roles at Oracle and OpenPages. Previously, he was the Senior Director of GRC within the Application Strategy Group at Oracle. Prior to Oracle, Sean led pre-sales operations at OpenPages, an early vendor in the GRC space. Prior to entering the software technology industry, he served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy.

Sean graduated from the United States Naval Academy and earned his MBA from the University of Rhode Island.
