Alan Davies

Alan Davies is an experienced Senior Instrument Designer currently working at Proconics since April 2017, focusing on DCS and ESD upgrades for Green and Brown Field Plants at Sasol. Previously, Alan served as an Instrument Designer at Proconics from 2008 to 2017, managing projects from As-Building to commissioning and conducting functional testing. Alan’s career at Sasol began in 1993 as an Instrument Artisan, progressing to Group Leader by 2006, where responsibilities included maintaining budgetary oversight and employee relations. Alan holds an Advanced Diploma in Industrial Automation from the Engineering Institute of Technology, completed in July 2022.
