Francois Smal is a Senior Manager in Electrical Engineering, registered as a Pr.Eng and a member of the South African Institute of Electrical Engineers (SAIEE) as well as the Golden Key International Honor Society. They graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from North West University in 2013 and completed their Master of Engineering in Engineering/Industrial Management at the University of Pretoria in 2023. Francois began their career as a Candidate Electrical Engineer at the National Petroleum Refiners of South Africa and has since held various leadership positions, including Area Manager for Electrical Maintenance and Team Lead at Proconics. They also obtained a Government Certificate of Competency in Factories in 2019.
