Farid Mirahadi, PhD, currently serves as Principal Machine Learning Engineer at Procore Technologies since May 2021 and holds the position of Senior ML/CV Scientist at INDUS.AI starting April 2019. Previous roles include a Machine Learning Intern and Scientist at INDUS.AI and a Researcher/Machine Learning Scientist at the University of Toronto, where Farid developed a sophisticated real-time smart evacuation management system for high-rise buildings. Earlier experiences encompass data analysis at Pacer Promec Energy Corp., Data Scientist roles at Concordia University and Qatar Petroleum, as well as a Research Assistant position at WAWI Institute in Germany. Farid earned a PhD in Engineering from the University of Toronto, a Master of Science from Concordia University, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Tehran.
