Mark Tyrrell

Mark Tyrrell is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software architecture and engineering. Currently serving as Principal Architect at Procore Technologies since July 2021, Mark supports customer-facing engineering teams in developing innovative products. Prior to this role, Mark held positions at notable companies such as WP Engine, Vrbo, and HomeAway, where responsibilities included driving cloud architecture strategy, managing traffic and data processing systems, and leading initiatives to modernize applications with microservices. With a solid technical foundation that began with roles at eBay and Informa Plc, Mark has consistently demonstrated expertise in Java development and architecture design. Mark holds a BA in Film and American Studies from the University of East Anglia.
