Dafydd Williams

Software Engineer at Procreate

Dafydd Williams has extensive work experience in software engineering, project management, and IT support. Dafydd started their career as a Help Desk Support Specialist at the University of Tasmania in 1998. Dafydd then became an Information Technology Technician at The Friends' School in Hobart, Tasmania in 2001. In 2006, they joined UXC (a CSC Company) as a Software Tester, and later worked as a Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer on various government projects.

In 2009, Dafydd founded Phere Development Pty Ltd, where they served as a Project Manager, leading a team of four on the Anachron project. Dafydd then joined ATMOS Software Productions Pty Ltd in 1997 as a Director, later transitioning to a role as a Project Manager. During their time at ATMOS, they led a team of eight in developing the game Escape Velocity: Nova.

In 2011, Dafydd joined AsdeqDocs as a Software Engineer and worked there until 2014. Dafydd then joined Procreate as a Software Engineer, and their current position dates from 2014.

Dafydd Williams pursued their Bachelor of Computing in Computer Science from the University of Tasmania between 2004 and 2006. Prior to that, they attended The Hutchins School from 1981 to 1994, where they did not obtain a specific degree or field of study.
