Dr. Erwin Mark

Dr. Erwin Mark is a Senior Scientist at Procter & Gamble, specializing in product, material, and technology development within the OralCare Brush business since June 2003. In addition to this role, Dr. Mark is a co-owner of UDT Consult, a consulting firm founded by his wife, and actively engages in community service as a volunteer firefighter. With a focus on consumer needs in emerging and low-income markets, Dr. Mark has a strong background in FMCG and consumer goods research. Prior to current positions, Dr. Mark completed a PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Heidelberg University, where research centered on synthesizing and characterizing boron- and silicon-rich structures for applications in electron microscopy and boron-neutron capture therapy. Additional experience includes roles at Bayer MaterialScience and Henkel Corporation, complemented by education at prestigious institutions such as the University of Oxford and the University of Düsseldorf.
