Keesha Riley, Ph.D., is currently the R&D Director and Principal Scientist at Procter & Gamble, where they lead innovation in polymer-based formulations for beauty and grooming products. Keesha gained extensive experience in polymer synthesis and characterization during their Ph.D. studies at Cornell University, which concluded in 2009. They began their career with internships at SC Johnson and Corning Incorporated, focusing on product development and thin films. Prior to their current role, Keesha served as a Senior Engineer at Procter & Gamble, where they were instrumental in the chemistry of Gillette cartridges. Keesha holds a Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, in Chemical Engineering from Howard University, which they are currently pursuing.
